This is to inform the general public that ABUAD Postgraduate Admission Form for the 2022/2023 academic session is out. Prospective postgraduate applicants at the Afe Babalola University ABUAD that the University Management has just announced the commencement of sales of its Postgraduate admission form 2022/2023 both full-time and Part-time.

ABUAD Postgraduate Admission Requirement

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

The criteria for admission into the PGD programme will be as follow:

• All candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects at ‘O’ Level.
• Candidates with Bachelor’s degree from any NUC approved University must obtain a minimum of 3rd Class degree in the relevant discipline.
• Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved Institutions with a minimum of Lower Credit may also be considered for admission.

Master’s Degree Programmes

The criteria for admission into the Masters Programme (M.Sc.) will be as follow:

1. All candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects at ‘O’ Level.
2. Candidates for Master of Science Degree Programme must obtain a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in the relevant discipline of Universities approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
3. Candidates with a university degree in Third Class or HND plus a University PGD at credit level pass may be considered for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree Programmes.

Professional Master’s Degree Programme

• Candidates for professional Master’s degree Programme must obtain a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in the relevant discipline of Universities approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
• Candidates with a university degree in Third Class or HND plus a University PGD at credit level pass may be considered for admission into professional Master’s Degree Programmes.
• All candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity, effective decision-making skills, and problem-solving potentials.

Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) Programs

• Candidate with relevant Master of Science (M. Sc) Degree of Afe Babalola University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Afe Babalola University with Minimum of 60% or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50.
• Any candidate with a CGPA less than 3.50 with a minimum of 3.00 shall be admitted to M. Phil/Ph. D program in the first instance, with the opportunity to convert to the Ph. D Programme later.
