List of Universities That Accept NECO Result

This article gives a comprehensive list of universities that accept NECO results and also briefly discusses the meaning of NECO.

NECO result is well recognized in Nigeria and only used within the country because of those Nigerian universities that accept NECO result.

These universities that accept NECO results are Nigerian based and you can barely see an international university that does. If you want to apply for university admission, you have to first acquire an O’level result.

In Nigeria, students normally have about four different O’level standard examinations available to them during their senior secondary school which include WAEC, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB exams. WAEC and NECO exams are the commonly accepted ones, and you can easily gain admission using them.

Some persons in Nigerian universities got their admission with only NECO results, some had both NECO and WAEC results. Moreover, you should make necessary inquiries before applying to an institution, especially if you have only NECO results because some universities accept NECO results while others do not.
