This is to let you know that the WAEC Result is out for Candidates who wrote in Aug/Sept 2020. The result was released today being Monday 2nd November 2020 by 10:30 am. Candidates who sat for the WASSCE are now advised to go check their results. See the details below. WAEC Result is Out Out of the total number of candidates that sat the examination, One Million Four Hundred and Fifty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Seven (1,456,727) candidates, representing 94.69% have their results fully processed and released while Eighty-One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighteen (81,718) candidates, representing 5.31% have a few of their subjects still being processed due to some errors on the part of the candidates. Efforts are, however, being made to speedily complete the processing to enable all the affected candidates to get their results fully processed and released, subsequently. Follow the procedure to check your result by yourself. If you have issues checking the result, check it back after a few hours.

How to Check WAEC Result Online

You don’t need to buy any scratch card to check your 2020 WASSCE result. The result checker pin and serial number needed by candidates to check results online are contained on the candidate’s smart identity card used during the conduct of the examination.
  1. Go to WAEC result checking portal at www.waecdirect.org.
  2. Enter your WASSCE Examination Number in the required column.
  3. Select your Examination Year i.e. 2020.
  4. Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
  5. Enter the Card Serial Number.
  6. Enter the Card PIN.
  7. Finally, click “Submit” button to get your Result.
