NOTICE TO ALL FRESH STUDENTS REGARDING COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWN FOR THE 2021/2022 MATRICULATION CEREMONY This is to inform all Fresh Students that the 2021/2022 matriculation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 20 September 2020 at “The Great Prompt. Hall”. For this purpose, all concerned are requested to visit their respective faculty offices for the collection of academic gowns for the ceremony from Thursday, September 15, Friday, September 16 and Monday, September 19, 2022. The gowns collected must be handed over to the respective faculty be returned. officers on or before Monday, September 28, 2022. Failure to return the gowns as and when due will attract a fine of Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) per day payable to the Scholarship Department of the University by the various faculties Financial officers. All matriculating students are expected to assemble promptly in front of “The Great Hall” by 08:00 and be guided to their seats in the hall by their faculty officers at 08:30 Any of the matriculating students who are not seated in the hall not. hall at the appointed time will be excluded from the venue of the ceremony. Faculty officials must note that any candidate who has not paid his/her tuition fees, as indicated on the attached list, should not be given academic g. own. All matriculating students are also expected to be properly dressed for the ceremony as anyone not properly dressed will not be allowed into the venue. Faculty officers should please enforce proper dress from their students.
