In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Actuarial Science under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in the institutions listed above are:

(i) UNIBEN (for Public Administration) requires Government/History, one Social Science subject and any other subject.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Actuarial Science as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIBEN (for Insurance) – A pass in Further Mathematics is an advantage.

(ii) UNIBEN (for marketing) requires five credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects at not more than two sittings
