ExxonMobil will require shortlisted candidates to come with the original copy and a photocopy of the following documents for screening prior to taking the qualifying test:

Worth of Scholarship
Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), the operator of its joint venture with the National Petroleum Corporation of Nigeria (NNPC), awards 500 undergraduate scholarships annually to Nigerian university students.
The scholarships have an initial value of one academic year and are renewable to cover the duration of the approved study, depending on the academic achievements of the winners and the corresponding reports of the institutions.
Eligibility for ExxonMobil Scholarship 2020
Being a Nigerian alone does not give you automatic qualification for this scholarship. There are some certain criteria you need to meet before you are considered for this Mobil Nigeriascholarship 2020. Below is a list of other eligibility criteria for the Mobil Nigeria scholarship.
- Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its equivalent with at least six subjects passed at a sitting with a minimum of 5 Distinctions.
- Applicants must be a full-time registered undergraduate in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any Nigerian University.
- You need not apply if you are currently benefiting from other oil and gas scholarship program.
- Dependents of employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Mobil Oil Nigeria plc and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited are also not eligible for this scholarship.

Important Info About ExxonMobil Scholarship 2020
Exxon-Mobil Scholarship is an annual scholarship award available for students in their 100level and 200level across all institution in Nigeria.
The NNPC / MPN joint venture scheme aims to help the federal government of Nigeria to train and develop medium and high-level staff for the country while improving the potential for recruiting candidates ready for work in the company.
Some of the candidates successfully completed the company’s recruitment operation after graduation; However, ExxonMobil is not required to offer a job to the fellows at the end of their studies.
Under the NNPC / MPN undergraduate scholarship program, 60% of the scholarships go for core disciplines of Engineering and Geosciences, while 40% are for other approved business and social sciences related studies.
Currently, the awards cover a total of nine approved disciplines, which are strictly based on the merits determined by the academic background, conduct and performance of the candidates in the selection tests.
To improve the process of awarding scholarships and exploit existing information and communication technologies (ICT), the selection of candidates is done through an electronic test. The online test is organized in several centres throughout the country.
