Authority of the Bowen University, Iwo (BUI), Osun State has released the amount payable as fees by undergraduate students of the institution for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Bowen University Tuition Fees Schedule

First degrees and MB;BS payment structure for 2022/2023 session

  • 100 Students are required to pay 50% of all fees due in Category A and full payment for category B and C at the start of the session; 20% before the first semester exam; 20% at the start of the second semester and 10% before the second semester examination.
  • All other students (Level 200 to 500) must pay 40% at the start of session; 10% before the first semester exam, 30% at the start of the second semester and 20% before the second semester exam.

Please note the following changes regarding school fee payment:

1. For 100 Level/Transfer/Direct Entry Students

70% payment of school fees is expected to be paid at the start of the session, while the balance of 30% is expected to be paid at the start of the second semester.

New plan approved by council:
50% at the start of the session
20% before the first semester exam
20% at the start of the 2nd semester
10% before the second semester examination

2. For 200-500 level students
50% payment of school fees is expected to be paid at the start of the session, while the balance of 50% is expected to be paid at the start of the second semester.

New plan approved by council:
40% at the start of the session
10% before the first semester examination
30% at the start of the 2nd semester
20% before the second semester examination

School fee payment for foreign students

Foreign students residing in Nigeria will pay 10% increase of current school fees while foreign students residing outside Nigeria will pay 15% increase of current school fees across all programs.

MB;BS Clinical:

Three equal installments are approved based on the timeline of the different clinical years. The length of the different levels varies.

  • The school will not receive any refund of fees after payment has been made for any reason.
  • Remittance of fees will be credited to students’ accounts and sorted out at graduation if not fully utilized by then.
  • All students must register for their semester courses within the first three weeks of resumption. Registration is dependent on payment of all prescribed fees. Late registration after three weeks results in a penalty of 5 percent of whatever amount stands against the student as total outstanding fees plus N5,000.00 for late course registration.
  • Meals will be provided through approved cafeteria services for which students pay as they eat (PATE).
