Akwa Ibom State Government is now accepting submissions from undergraduate students of Akwa Ibom Origin studying in Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education for its 35th Essay Competition. The deadline for submitting entries for the Akwa Ibom State Essay Competition is September 18, 2022.
In a bid to encourage and reward intellectually skilled indigenes of the state, the Akwa Ibom State Government is sponsoring an essay competition themed “Akwa Ibom: The Land of Unlimited Possibilities” as part of festivities to commemorate the state’s 35th anniversary of statehood.
The essay competition, organized by the Ministry of Information and Strategy, is open to all Akwa Ibom undergraduates enrolled in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
According to the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Com. Ini Ememobong, participants must a Essay of 3,000 words on the aforementioned subject, typed double spaced and delivered as a Microsoft Word attachment to the email address [email protected]together with proof of studentship.
Laptops, books and cash are among the prizes available.
